Here’s what to expect with Book Lab
Read a book!
At the beginning of each Book Lab session, the group votes to choose the book. So far we’ve read Bridget Jones’s Diary, The Black House, Beautiful World, Where are You?, The Great Gatsby, White Teeth, How to Kill your Family, Purple Hibiscus and The Rotter’s Club!
Lessons online
Every two weeks, you will read around 50-60 pages and then we meet up online for a Virtual Classroom. During Book Lab we will have A LOT of discussion about the book! We’ll also examine the language, review vocabulary, practise pronunciation and clarify any questions.
